‘An Inside Look’ is a video series designed for patients and families on the journey with a brain tumour. This video explores Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) with Dr. Lynda Balneaves. It provides patients with an understanding of the difference between complementary and alternative medicine, how these treatments work with conventional medicine and how you can advocate for CAM as part of your brain tumour treatment journey. Dr. Balneaves is an Associate Professor, School of Nursing, University of British Columbia and Principal Investigator, CAMEO Research Program, BC Cancer Agency and volunteer for Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
